Do you like skiing and the sea? Then you can't miss out on this activity! You'll be waterskiing along the Benidorm coastline enjoying the incredible views.
If it is your first time waterskiing, you will start by using two-skis, as the position is easier and more intuitive than if you are waterskiing with a mono-ski.
Then, once you have mastered two-skiing, you can go water-skiing with mono-skiing. Here you get to put your body sideways in the water.
As the name suggests, two-skiing involves using one ski for each foot, while mono-skiing, also known as slalom skiing, involves skiing on water but with your feet on one large ski.
In addition, the mono-ski allows you to gain more speed (up to 58 km/h) and to perform incredible jumps and tricks. However, in the case of two-skiing, the maximum speed that can be reached is 27-30 km/m. The feeling is similar to skiing on snow, but with the friction of water. Once you have mastered the handling of two-skiing, you can move on to mono-skiing.
If you are a beginner you will have plenty of time to get it right. Beginners will learn the basics, safety protocols and how to ski on water. Intermediate/higher level participants will learn more advanced techniques and new tricks.
