Last Tuesday, while exploring the charming streets of Altea, we stumbled upon this little hidden treasure: PlantShack. From the moment we set foot inside, we were enveloped by a welcoming atmosphere with a natural touch that invited us to stay and explore further.
With no concrete plans in mind, we decided to venture out and try something new: a vegan breakfast. We started with two lattes, one small and one large. To our surprise, the size of the "small" one was not as small as we expected, which was a pleasant surprise.
We then ventured out to try two of their bowls: the Blue Mermaid and the Pink Dragon. At first, they seemed a little small, but as with the coffees, they turned out to be the perfect size. Although we struggled to finish them, each bite was an explosion of delicious, fresh flavours.
The highlight of our visit was when a friendly employee offered us some leftover protein shake from another order. This gesture not only demonstrated their commitment to reducing food waste, but also left a lasting impression of PlantShack's attention to detail and generosity.
All in all, our experience at PlantShack was exceptional and we will definitely be back. From the delicious food to the welcoming atmosphere and commitment to sustainability, PlantShack is more than just a restaurant - it's a must-visit destination for those looking for an authentic and conscious dining experience in Altea.
