Hello to all,
Today is 2 January, and although my idea was to start the year with a bang from day 1, life had other plans for me. An acute otitis left me out of action for the last week, literally lying in bed and in unbearable pain.
And today, at last, I finally managed to get up. I'm not 100%, but at least I no longer have to take those pills that left me half-zombie. My end of the year was weird, short and nothing like what I had planned to enjoy.
Reflections at the start of 2025
But this reminded me of something very important:
health comes first. Without health, everything else stands still. 🌱
On day 1, while I was lying in bed with the pain at its peak, I had one of those emotional lows. I asked myself: "Really, right now, when I'm most eager to get started with everything?" But I didn't want to get caught up in that feeling. In the end, I decided that this was just another test to prove to myself that I can do anything. Even from bed, every little step counts. So I've decided that my January 2 is my real start.
The important thing is to start, no matter when! 💪
These days have also made me reflect a lot on the last few years, my family and the people who are no longer with me. I have come to the same conclusion as always:
no one else is going to take the steps for you.
So here I am, kicking into high gear to make 2025 a year full of new goals and challenges. 🚀
My personal and professional goals for 2025
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who have supported me during this time. To José, my partner, and his family. José is not only my partner in life, he is my constant support, who reminds me that, although I don't have my family close by, I am building a home full of love and shared strength. ❤️
I also want to thank my close friends, my second family, because they are always there to push me to be better. Especially this year, my friend Rocío. This summer I worked with her in her restaurant (many of you don't know this). It was a period where we helped each other: she needed reliable staff and I, after some difficult years, needed an extra income. So I combined part-time at her restaurant with my job at Marinea.
How do I plan my goals for 2025?
And speaking of Marinea... What can I say! This project has changed my life. Thanks to passive income, I was able to take care of my father when he needed it most. It was something I wouldn't have been able to do with a "normal" job. And now Marinea not only allows me to be close to my loved ones and have time to travel, but it also gives me the freedom to explore new opportunities, like the one I found recently with LR Health & Beauty.
Rocío was the one who introduced me to LR a few weeks ago. At first, I didn't know what to think, but when I got to know the products and the business model, I was amazed at the potential it has. It also fits perfectly with my lifestyle and my philosophy of continuing to create flexible sources of income.
Specific goals for this 2025 (Jose&me)
- Improve our fitness (we already joined the gym before the end of the year, because why wait until the New Year to change). 🏋️♀️
- At LR: Achieve the rank of Head of Organisation before the end of the year. 📈
- Marinea: Reaching out to 20-25k euros of annual income.
- Mastering the bachata dance. 💃
- Open a joint account in social media. 📸
- Read one book a month (we are currently reading Atomic Habitshighly recommended). 📚
Exciting challenges for this year
- Participate in the Survivor Race of Alicante. 🏃♀️
- Celebrate the New Year with a bathing in the sea (even if we have to postpone it because of my illness, it will happen!) 🌊
- Record more content as a couple. 🎥
My personal goals and challenges for this year:
- Saving 💰
- Writing my first eBook (How to earn passive income)
- Achieving the pine (yes, I'm looking forward to it haha!). 🤸♀️
- Buy me a iPhone (for the quality of the camera and to be able to make better content, not on a whim 😜)
I want this year to be a period of growth in every way. I'm excited about what's to come and I know that if I put in the work and energy, I will achieve everything I set out to do. 🌟
