6 September 2026 at 20:39This was my fourth visit here for a special 60th birthday, and I’d recommended the place myself. Thirteen people ordered drinks; two never arrived, so we had to ask again. We ordered steaks and burgers; all were cooked as requested except for one cheeseburger, which was ordered ‘very well done’ but was still very pink inside. We couldn’t eat it, so we took it away and waited 10–15 minutes for a replacement. We ate half of it but couldn’t bring ourselves to eat any more.
Poor customer service – they can’t get orders right. They asked other tables if everything was alright, but not our table. A waitress was struggling with her tray; we thought the drinks were going to spill over us, and when clearing plates, she was reaching over people’s faces rather than going round the side.
Has this restaurant been taken over or has it got new front-of-house staff? Because my previous visits have been spot on – the young gentleman was brilliant.
I will return as I enjoyed my meal just as much as on previous visits, but I was disappointed with the service.
