Yesterday (12/09/2023) we had the opportunity to visit the charming restaurant Puerto Blanco in Calpeand we want to share our experience with you. This restaurant, located in an idyllic corner next to the marina of the same name, has been a gastronomic reference point in the province of Alicante since 1983.

What really impressed us was the merger between the traditional cuisine and innovative influences from around the world that are reflected in their dishes. In addition, the ambience at Puerto Blanco is simply incomparable. Its lush garden terrace, adorned with a beautiful pool/ lagoon create an atmosphere that captivates all the senses. At night, the restaurant is illuminated with soft lights, making it the perfect place for a romantic evening.

The décor of the place is simply charming and relaxing, making it a cosy space where you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Without a doubt, the ambience and setting contribute to the dining experience at Puerto Blanco.

But let's talk about the food. The dishes we tried were fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the presentation was impeccable. The menu offers a variety of choices that will satisfy all palates, from meat lovers to seafood enthusiasts. In addition, their wine list perfectly complements the gastronomic offerings.

It is important to mention that, while the experience is exceptional, it is not an inexpensive place. The most affordable menu we found was priced at €54 per person. However, it is essential to keep in mind that Puerto Blanco is not just a restaurant, it is a destination for a special and romantic dinner. The value for money translates into a gastronomic and romantic experience that is worth every euro spent.

All in all, our visit to Puerto Blanco in Calpe was an unforgettable experience. The combination of a unique location, charming décor, romantic ambience and exceptional food makes it a place we highly recommend for those looking for a memorable and romantic dinner that will stick in your memory. If you're willing to invest a little extra in a dinner that makes you feel like you're in a magical corner of the world, Puerto Blanco is definitely the place to celebrate - you won't be disappointed!
